Description:

This position will assist with the creation of multimedia videos by creating digital art assets and animations for the Center for Teaching Innovation. This student is involved in the planning process for course videos where customized digital art and animation are necessary. They will use a variety of software to create static and animated graphics, figures, and text images.

Responsibilities:

  • Creation of digital art assets and animations for use in multimedia content
  • Works closely with the Multimedia Team and other staff/faculty relating to art and animation needs during the planning process of various projects.
  • Assisting office staff with varying projects and using a wide range of technology
  • Creating promotional materials
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Has a background in art, graphic design, or another related area.
  • Understanding of the Adobe Suite (after effects, illustrator, etc.) and other tools for design and animation (Blender, etc.) as needed.
  • Professionalism, including strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivation to work independently or as a member of a team
  • Willingness to learn new technology skills
  • Ability to easily switch between tasks and prioritize multiple projects
